The Body of Animal Rights Campaigners is UCF’s only Animal Rights student organization. We seek to advocate the rights of all sentient creatures through education and other peaceful means. Specifically, we seek to exclude, as far as possible and practical, all forms of exploitation of and cruelty to animals for food, entertainment, clothing or any other purpose.

BARC meets the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 5pm, at UCF’s main campus, in the gazebo by the bookstore.

Spokescouncil is a bike group around UCF whose main goal is to facilitate a growth of all types of bike culture in the East Orlando area, and maintain a bike cooperative free to everyone. If this is your thing, join this group or better yet, come out to one of our weekly rides!

Starts at the entrance of Little Econ trail, which is at the bottom of the hill on Lokanotosa (also known as Science Dr, the street off of Alafaya with the Walgreens at the corner).
Meetup is at 8:00pm, and ride leaves at 8:15pm sharp,
Pace is slow, casual, friendly; any/all bikes are welcome!

Our weekly on-campus shop hours run Tuesday and Wednesday from 12-3PM just to the right of the Student Union (across from the College of Sciences). There, we have the tools, stands, and know-how to help aid you in fixing up your bike.

If you want to keep up to date on any and all things bike related including upcoming events, or just want to come and get to know us and what we do here at UCF, we have weekly meetings Wednesdayss, at 4:00PM, at the Gazebo between the library and bookstore.
